Why one page?
Because you’ll actually read it. A summary that runs to twelve pages is just the slides again. The sheet puts what the professor stressed on top, keeps each point under a line, and fits a printed page, so it works the night before and on the walk to the exam.
How it finds what the professor stressed
Before the AI writes anything, Slide Rescue counts what repeats across slides, finds lines that point at the exam (“know this”, “will be on the midterm”, “important”) and spots recap slides. Those signals, with the slide numbers, go to the AI as evidence, and the sheet tells you why each stressed item is there.
The class link and your classmates
Every exam can get one link. Anyone who opens it takes the exam and sees their score with the slides to reread. They don’t need an account and never see your slides or your name. The link ends after 120 days, and you can turn it off at any time.
Is it really free to try?
Yes. Your first deck is free with no account and no card: you get the full cheat sheet and 5 practice questions. To keep it and send the exam to your class, sign up free.
Does a pass renew?
No. The Semester Pass is $14 once and lasts five months. The Exam Week Pass is $5.99 once for 30 days. Neither renews or charges you again, so there is nothing to cancel.
What happens to my slides?
Your PDF or PowerPoint is read on your own device. Only the text goes to the AI to write your sheet and questions, and we keep the result, not your file. A shared exam holds the questions only: never the slides and never your name.
Is this cheating?
No. It’s studying: a summary of slides you were given and practice questions to test yourself. It doesn’t answer graded work, and every line points back to the slide it came from so you can check it.
What files work?
PDFs and PowerPoint files (.pptx), up to 400 slides. Slides that are only pictures (scans) have no text to read; ask for the original file. Keynote and old .ppt files: export as PDF first.
How good are the questions?
They’re written from your slides the way a professor tests: definitions, short new cases, and two ideas compared. Each answer explains why, with the slide number. When something looks off, the slide is one tap away.
Can classmates use my class link for free?
Yes. Anyone with the link takes the exam and sees their score, no account. The link ends after 120 days, and you can turn it off any time.
